On May 12, Dalian Hengli Shipyard Co., Ltd. under Hengli Heavy Industries Group signed a construction contract with Fortune Ocean, a subsidiary of Haixing Shipping Co., Ltd., for the building of four 82,000 DWT bulk carriers. This contract marks Hengli Heavy Industries' official entry into the mainstream bulk carrier construction industry.
